Run an AI Workshop Without the Chaos
A two-hour workshop format that surfaces real automation opportunities and converts them into action items.

Workshops fail when you chase inspiration over action. This playbook keeps the room anchored on live workflows and converts every idea into experiments.
Prep timeline
- Collect three recent frustrations from each attendee.
- Build simple persona cards to visualize who the workflow serves.
- Draft a mural board with three columns: Signals, Systems, Sprints.
Agenda
- Signals (30 min): Participants narrate the moments where work breaks. Facilitator captures the trigger, owner, and impact.
- Systems (45 min): Group maps the existing workflow, highlighting manual handoffs. Identify “assist”, “augment”, or “automate” opportunities.
- Sprints (30 min): Teams pick one opportunity and write an experiment brief (owner, model, guardrails, expected lift).
- Commit (15 min): Decide how experiment results will be shared and which metric proves success.
Follow-through
- Assign a sprint steward.
- Schedule a 20-minute playback session within seven days.
- Store all experiment briefs in the systems dashboard for visibility.
Consistency matters more than showmanship. Run this workshop monthly to keep AI projects grounded in real work.
